Budapest, 31 July 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN saw a race spent nearly entirely within the top ten come to nothing as Zhou Guanyu finished 13th and Valtteri Bottas retired from the Hungarian Grand Prix. The race marks the end of the first part of the season, with the summer break now allowing the team to regroup and return to the performance levels shown throughout the spring.
Budapest, 30 July 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN had a strong showing at the Hungaroring, with Valtteri Bottas qualifying in eighth place for tomorrow’s Hungarian Grand Prix, and Zhou Guanyu just outside the top ten in 12th place.
Le Castellet, 24 July 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN left the Circuit Paul Ricard empty handed on a difficult Sunday on which Valtteri Bottas finished 14th and Zhou Guanyu’s race was cut short by a technical issue. The team will aim to bounce back immediately at next week’s Hungarian Grand Prix, the last race before the summer break.
Le Castellet, 23 July 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN will start tomorrow’s French Grand Prix in P11 and P16. On a hot summer day in Le Castellet, Valtteri Bottas brought his C42 into Q2, while team-mate, Zhou Guanyu, saw his final Q1 attempt compromised and bowed out in the first segment of the session.
