São Paulo, 13 November 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN produced a strong display to bring home two points at the Brazilian Grand Prix, courtesy of Valtteri Bottas’s ninth place. Team-mate, Zhou Guanyu, also had a good race and ran in the points for a majority of the afternoon, before closing in 12th position.
São Paulo, 12 November 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN made steady progress in the Sprint to set the grid for tomorrow’s Brazilian Grand Prix. Zhou Guanyu and Valtteri Bottas were in overtaking mood as they made the most of their C42s’ pace and eventually crossed the finish line in P13 and P14 respectively.

Mexico City, 30 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN brought home one valuable point from the Mexican Grand Prix as Valtteri Bottas finished tenth, with team-mate Zhou Guanyu in 13th. It was a challenging race for the team, but the final reward of one point allows it to extend its lead for P6 in the constructors’ standings to four points.
Mexico City, 29 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN was in great form in qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix, as Valtteri Bottas set the sixth fastest time to book a spot on the third row for tomorrow’s grid. Zhou Guanyu only missed out on a place in the top ten for a small margin, and will line up in P12, with a good chance to make his way into the points.

Austin, 23 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN went close to the points in a chaotic United States Grand Prix, with a top-ten finish only slipping out of reach in the closing stages of the race. Zhou Guanyu, starting from P18 after a power unit penalty, made a good recovery with a brave race and an aggressive strategy; he climbed as high as tenth before a late surge by cars on fresher tyres saw him finish in 13th place. Team-mate, Valtteri Bottas, survived early contact with Sergio Perez and was running into the points when his race came to an end with a spin.
Austin, 22 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN was a strong performer in qualifying for the United States Grand Prix, and only saw its first double-Q3 of the season vanish due to a marginal infringement of track limits regulations by Zhou Guanyu. Valtteri Bottas qualified tenth, but is expected to make up three more places on tomorrow’s grid due to penalties to other drivers, to start seventh; Zhou eventually ended up 14th, but will suffer a further five-place penalty for additional power unit components.

Suzuka, 9 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN saw the chequered flag in a chaotic Japanese Grand Prix, but there was no reward for Valtteri Bottas’s and Zhou Guanyu’s heroics under the pouring rain in Suzuka. Despite the team’s relentless work in a red-flagged, much-delayed race, Valtteri and Zhou finished in 15th and 16th place respectively. Showing impressive pace after a pit-stop for intermediates, Zhou set the fastest lap of the race – his first such accolade in his Formula One career.
Suzuka, 8 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN qualified in 12th and 14th place for tomorrow’s Japanese Grand Prix, as Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu set themselves up for a good opportunity to score points. The team delivered a solid display, missing out on a place in Q3 for a tiny margin – less than 0.1s: with the weather forecast still in the balance for the race, there’s everything to play for.
Singapore, 2 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN endured a tough weekend in Singapore, as Valtteri Bottas brought his C42 home in 11th place after a damp-to-dry race on the Marina Bay circuit. Team-mate, Zhou Guanyu, saw his evening end early as he was the victim of a collision with Nicholas Latifi, the resulting damage putting the Chinese driver out of the running.
Singapore, 1 October 2022 – Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN battled a slippery Marina Bay track as it qualified for tomorrow’s Singapore Grand Prix. Zhou Guanyu claimed a spot in Q2, eventually qualifying in 15th position, one spot ahead of team-mate, Valtteri Bottas, in a session that started damp with a gradually drying track.
