No Reserve: 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000

This 1974 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV is a three owner example with service records dating back to 1998, when the 2.0L 4-cylinder engine with SPICA injection and transmission underwent a fully documented rebuild by the second owner. The original window sticker shows the car is optioned with a factory limited slip differential.
The body has moderate rust photographed in detail below, and Rosso Corsa paint and chrome trim show their age. The car is a good driver and fully roadworthy with a strong maintenance file, and this is a GTV you can restore over time while adding miles.

While the body panels appear straight without any large dents or dings, there are rust issues in the rockers and around the windshield. The seller does a good job capturing the condition of the car with over 100 detailed photos.

Here is the worst area of rust in the left side rocker. The roof paint has faded along with the Alfa emblems on the C-pillar. Aside from a missing zero in the “2000” badge on the trunk lid, trim is intact and looks bright overall.

The later 2000 models featured a redesigned front grill and larger taillights. The car is fitted with stock 15″ Campagnolo “Turbina” alloy wheels.

Disc brakes and suspension are said to be in good shape, and the seller notes that all new bushings, shocks, and springs have been installed. Note the clean spare tire well.

The interior is original with the exception of an aftermarket head unit fitted in the 1990s. A few cracks are evident on the dash, and front and back vinyl seats have split seams. The wood trim appears to be in good condition, and the wiper and fan blower switches below the leather shifter boot are a nice design feature.

The car has been driven 15k miles since the engine rebuild, and all service records dating to 1998 and the original window sticker are viewable below. The current owner has driven the car a few hundred miles, and says it feels strong on the road with good brakes and road manners, and notes that there is good oil pressure at idle when the motor is at operating temperature.
